- Personal profile
See pages 8 to 17 of your Assessment book. Your Assessment book will be provided to you in hard copy on day one of the Diploma.
There is also a final assessment for this unit, which is detailed in your Assessment book.
Your final assessment for this unit is to complete the following activities:
- Strengths review write up 500 words on your experience of the Strengths assessment and debrief including learning and actions you will take personally and professionally. Please link your learning and actions to your own personal engagement in any of the contexts discussed. We would like to see your Planned action to undertake (ie, which strengths you are going to focus on), the results, any feedback from others around you and any next steps with other strengths or contexts. You may also like to comment on how your strengths can / have assisted you in finding flow and increaseing your engagement overall.
- Strengths spotting activity refer to the strengths spotting scale and the readings, then find a friend or colleague and do a strengths spotting activity, formally or informally, and write up your findings and learnings (500 words). We would like to know about the persons engagement levels, what actions the person thought they might do based on your strengths spotting feedback, and any results you may have noticed from them. Again, you may like to link this to flow theory if anything comes up during your conversation around their engagement in life.
We are not looking for a formal essay style. These assessments are personal and informal. They are designed to show you have completed the exercise and reflected on the experience to expand your learning about yourself. It will also help you understand the impact of the exercises if you choose to prescribe the interventions to clients or colleagues in the future in your working life.
Once you have completed your assessment please submit to Roxanne via email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Once completed you will also need to provide a copy of your Assessment Book; this can be scanned and emailed through to us or posted to our office at – 42 William Street, Balaclava VIC 3183.
