Final assignment 2

Your final assessment for this module is a 1000 1500 word essay on your application of positive psychology theories to yourself, personally and professionally. This is all about you and what you can put into practice.
This may be based on the key readings, notes in the workbook, additional readings provided, as well as additional research you may have undertaken.

Your essay needs to include the following areas, yet can be structured in any way you choose.

  • Your own self assessment – based on the discussions, learning and your diagnostics
  • What you chose to apply to yourself – personally and professionally
  • Activities you undertook – your personal action plan
  • Next steps – what additional learning / actions you are going to undertake to maintain and enhance your knowledge

We are not looking for a formal essay style and you will not be assessed on academic essay writing that requires detailed citations and references. You will be assessed on your level of understanding and particularly how you have linked your knowledge to your own area of application. We do ask that you show your respect and knowledge when referring to particular research or models, by acknowledging their source or the name of the researcher. We apply a plagiarism check which must be less than 15% to be considered your own work.

You do not need to cover all the theories, or all researchers. Choose your area of expertise or focus then link your learning to the background of positive psychology and the direction it has taken.

Once you have completed your assessments please submit to Roxanne via email (roxanne@langleygroup.com.au).  Once completed you will also need to provide a copy of your Assessment Book; this can be scanned and emailed through to us or posted to our office at – 42 William Street, Balaclava VIC 3183.  Please take a copy of your completed Assessment Book before sending through the post!

Assessments will be marked all together upon receipt of the final assessment in order to provide an holistic view of your learning.
