🎓 Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing
What drew you to complete the Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing?
"I wanted to do something that would allow me to develop further while also having a big impact on others, and boy, did it do that."
Making a difference in people's lives has always been something I have been passionate about. I completed a degree in Psychology a number of years ago and never did anything with it. I was working in a coaching business at the time and had always wanted to do something more with my life.
I had big dreams and goals, although I needed to figure out what I wanted to create. Always striving for personal growth and becoming the best version of myself.

How was your experience of the course?
"The impact this has had on me personally and those around me has been unbelievable."
I had sooo many ‘ah ha’ moments throughout this course, one of the biggest being that I can commit and follow through with things. I had always been so hard on myself, often self-sabotaging and completing this course was such an empowering moment that I cried.
The strengths assessment was also a huge eye-opener for me; I struggled with this as I initially felt like a bit of a washout with my strengths. After having a deeper conversation around this, I realised they were actually superpowers, and I have really learnt how to embrace them (thanks to my student support coach).
The biggest challenge for me was emotions. I am very self-aware, yet having to think about, label and sit in these emotions for me was really tough; something I am still working on embracing. The course was everything I was expecting and more.
I finally feel as though I have arrived in myself, embracing every part of me, and this has enabled me to shine; others are noticing, feeling and embracing it, too.

How are you spreading your positive ripples?
"I practice kindness daily and use my energy and strengths to inspire and bring joy to others."
Since starting the Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing my whole life has changed. I mutually separated from both my husband and my work, re-building my life from scratch. This led me to backing myself and my ability to create lasting impact; legacy - my top unrealised strength!
I have just started doing some shifts at the gym using my other strengths of optimism and esteem builder to help inspire and motivate others into lasting change. I am creating my own coaching business, focusing on women who are sober and curious and helping them become the best versions of themselves. I am also creating a community for women, a place they can go to inspire, motivate and support each other to become the best versions of themselves.
I have removed judgment from others and meet them where they are – I use my knowledge and experiences to help change the lives of others. Thank you to Sue Langley and the Langley Group Institute team for helping me spread my wings and fly.
