Appeals Lodgement Form
An appeal is an application by a learner for reconsideration of an unfavourable decision or finding during training and / or assessment.
Informal Resolution of complaints as the first step
Issues arising during training and assessment that are the source of frustration or are in dispute should be resolved at the time, as they occur between the persons involved, where possible. This may include advice, discussions, and general mediation in relation to the issue.
Formal Appeals
In some cases where an informal resolution is not possible, you are encouraged to come forward and inform us of your concerns with the confidence that you will be treated fairly.
Please note: Formal appeals must be submitted to LGI within seven (7) days of the learner being informed of the decision or finding.
For further information on LGI's formal appeals policy and procedures, please refer to the Student Information Handbook which can be found under the 'Student Information' tab on this portal.
