I found the whole Diploma course very informative (the in-person learning and the subsequent reading) and a quite cathartic and moving experience in relation to completing the assignments. It was helpful for me to acknowledge that I am actually a very positive person – and confirm that this kind of positive energy flows through me to others. I feel much calmer as a person (says the person who has a portfolio career and work life and is extremely comfortable juggling multiple balls in the air at all times) and was able to 'fill up my toolkit' with strategies to continue to remain calm. In my work life, I have been able to apply the lessons learnt to bring it all to life to fulfil my Mission, which is to help others help themselves. I am very grateful for your personalisation and suggestions of practical application of the lessons offered and learnt. Bravo!

I've accepted a new role as National Wellbeing Health and Safety Manager! When they made the verbal offer this week, they told me that my enrolment in the Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing really helped my application stand out. It was one of the things that caught their attention and sparked a lot of interest in our conversations. Thank you for the inspiration and energy you bring to this space – it's been a catalyst for real change and opportunity

To sum it up, this course was transformative, personally and professionally. The tone was set from the first minutes I arrived by Dr Denise and Debs. Warm, inviting, friendly. Our group was full of extremely special people and the time spent connecting with each other to begin the course was so important and allowed us to truly gel as a class.
The topics were fascinating and Dr Denise was incredible in her presentation of the material. She was engaging and personable and so knowledgeable. She is a master teacher and one of those educators who you can't help but hang off every word she says. She was beautifully sensitive, funny, clear and informative, all at the right times. Her personal touch is very special.
I am so grateful she was teaching this course and feel so lucky I was able to learn from this very impressive person. – I think there was a special something I experienced, coming from Australia to do this course in Christchurch. There is such a rich beauty in the Kiwi way and I was so welcomed. I loved learning about the Maori culture and connecting our discussions of wellbeing to cultural traditions, customs and history. – The content of this course was so interesting.
I felt it was well paced and timed and offered so much to learners. Everyone could take something personally or professionally from the material covered. While we did spend considerable time listening, this was not an issue because of the delivery of the material. In addition though, we did some incredible activities. The Helping Hands/Charity Team Building Activity in particular was such a special way to introduce meaning for instance.
I also loved the art activity (placed perfectly on the Friday afternoon) and the sessions where we got up, moved around and connected to ideas in different ways. Some of my favourite topics were the self compassion and the values/strengths. It was really great to have done some of the surveys/inventories before we came so that we could really dive in on the course.
I am still really connected to the learning around my values and have this visible in my house to continue to come back to and be motivated by. I think the layout of the course across the weekend was fantastic as we were able to park and digest the content over the weekend then come back to it freshed. I really liked the homework/assessment books and look forward to completing the homework.
I can't thank Sue, Dr Denise, Debs and the class enough for this beautiful experience. Would highly recommend to anyone. THANK YOU 🙂

The course was well-designed and delivered. I enrolled for my own personal growth and, specifically, to help understand and live positively with grief. The face-to-face course moved me towards that goal through excellent facilitation and teaching.
The unexpected bonus for me was my cohort of learning peers. It was really amazing to be surrounded by like-minds, focusing on strengths and giving to one another. The materials are well-presented, assessments are clear.
Overall, it was one of the best weeks I've had in a long time – lots of learning, engaging, reflecting, laughing and crying. I enjoyed every moment!

If you're on the fence about the Positive Psychology and Wellbeing Diploma, whether that be around cost or fitting it into your busy schedule then stop deliberating. It's worth every penny and more. And they didn't even make me say that… As a current student I can wholeheartedly say that the course has changed my life for the better.
I went in with the lens of learning how I could help make improvements at work and for my charity BetterMan, but quickly found out that before anything else it would improve my life and my relationship with myself. That might sound a bit woo-woo to some but everything is research backed and nothing feels forced. As someone who is a bit introverted, I sometimes shy away from group coaching like this where you have to share your experiences.
The way Denise presents makes you feel completely comfortable to share as much or as little as you want and I found myself always wanting to offer thoughts and suggestions. There was so much emotion and connection in the room during the immersion training that it was hard to say goodbye to the people you take the course with. So, in short, the course content is life-changing, Denise is a rockstar at facilitating, and you make a bunch of new mates.
What more could you want? In fact if you don't hurry up and book, I might do the course again. It's that good.

I believed my lack of current knowledge around this topic was going to be a disadvantage but after Day 2, things started falling into place, connecting and the stories and sharing of others was a complexity of learning.
Look forward to the assignments and the continued implementation.
